At press time, Enjoy Life and Pascha brands are certified dairy free, gluten free, and soy free.) Most vegans still consider such products to be vegan, but of course it’s a personal choice, especially if the reason to avoid milk is due to an allergy. (Note: Some of these packages say “may contain milk” on the label because the chocolate chips are made in a facility where non-vegan products are also produced. Look for one of the following brands: Enjoy Life, Simple Truth Organic, Target Simply Balanced, Lily’s Sweet Stevia Sweetened, Kirkland semi sweet (Costco brand), Guittard semi sweet or extra dark, Equal Exchange, Scharffen Berger dark chocolate baking chunks, Trader Joe’s semi sweet, Sprouts semi sweet, or Pascha. Just ask an employee if you’re not sure where it’s located. Most regular grocery stores should have a natural food section. If you want to seek out vegan chocolate chips at a regular grocery store, the best place to start is the natural food aisle. While milk is sometimes added, there are many brands-even some generic grocery store brands-of vegan chocolate chips and chocolate bars that are becoming much easier to find. And are chocolate chips vegan? I’m asked these questions quite often, and thankfully the answer is that yes, chocolate itself is vegan.

9/5/2023 0 Comments Think like a man 2Lastly, Cedric, played by Kevin Hart, misunderstood the cost of his suite not realizing that it was $40,000 instead of $4,000, so he must come up with the extra money to pay for the room and, eventually, his wife’s company credit card which he used to pay for the room. Come to find out at the end, off camera, with no previous indication that she did or was going to do so, she rejected the job offer so he can follow his dream. However, Dominic is offered his dream job as the lead chef of a restaurant in Las Vegas. Lauren is offered her dream job the COO of a major business firm out in New York. And after the movie, when come to find out he knocked her up, he just accepts it. In one problem, Jeremy finds it difficult to come to terms with the fact that his long term girlfriend – or wife, as they never really explain that part – wants to have a child. However, the even worse than the film being a cheap rehash of the previous installment, there was absolutely no satisfactory resolution to any of the conflicts. Dominic and Lauren are still dealing with their careers pulling them in opposite directions. Jeremy and Kristen are still dealing with him being afraid of commitment and her being too demanding. Here, every issue that was presented to the couples in the previous film are still present here. A good sequel takes all of the previous development, both plot and character, from the previous film and continues it as new troubles are presented to the protagonist. As time passes and shenanigans ensue, the couples must learn to overcome these issues and either grow together or grow apart.Īlthough the film is a sequel to 2012’s Think Like A Man in title, it certainly isn’t in spirit. However, their luggage isn’t the only baggage that managed to find its way to Las Vegas with them as nearly each of the respective couples bring their own share of problems. They have decided to get married in Las Vegas, and they have brought along their friends. The plot of the movie centers on Michael and Candace, played by Terrence Jenkins and Regina Hall. To avoid them, skip the fourth paragraph of this review! Although it is typically frowned upon, in order to properly convey the level to which this movie failed to tell a story, it has become necessary. Warning: this review will contain a few spoilers. Perhaps director Tim Story should have taken this into consideration before inundating movie goers with a virtually endless barrage of them to create the most superficial and obvious cash-in in recent memory: Think Like A Man Too. There is nothing wrong with clichés in a movie if they’re used properly and, more importantly, sparingly. ![]() Due to the frame materials and other factors, we estimate that this bike weighs around 15 pounds. The frame comes in colors like brushed, Cobalt Kandy and Modern Retro Blue Green Matte. If the bike's older a tuneup won't hurt, but expect to pay more. The 1998 Giant Farrago 1998 is a hybrid bike with a chromoly frame. On a new bike they should do this for free or for a nominal sum. If the bike is relatively new (a few months old), you should take it back to the shop where you bought it and ask for a "tuneup" where they would tighten the crank arms, adjust the brakes and shifters, and true up the wheels. It's unlikely to be that the BB needs lube, unless it's been sorely neglected for years (or submerged in Sandy's tidal waters). Unless there are loose spokes, though, there's not much you can do about this and it will usually go away on its own after the wheel breaks in. ![]() Spokes can make a "ting" sound, especially if the wheel is relatively new. No big emergency here, but you need to tighten them to see if that's the problem. You can also get noise from a cartridge BB if the cups are not totally tight. (If one moves more than a small amount, get a torque wrench and do them up right.) Likewise with the pedals. Even if they don't seem loose it doesn't hurt to put a wrench on the fixing bolts and torque them a bit. The first thing to check (because ignoring it can rapidly cause expensive damage) is that the crank arms are tight. Compositional information from THEMIS might help pin down their origin.Ĭolors in this image of the Martian moon Phobos indicate a range of surface temperatures detected by observing the moon on Sept. One major question about Phobos and Mars' even smaller moon, Deimos, is whether they are captured asteroids or bits of Mars knocked into the sky by impacts. Observations in multiple bands of thermal-infrared wavelengths can yield information about the mineral composition of the surface, as well as the surface texture. Cameras on other Mars orbiters have previously taken higher-resolution images of Phobos, but none with the infrared information available from THEMIS. Phobos has an oblong shape with an average diameter of about 14 miles (22 kilometers). ![]() If it heats up very quickly, it's likely not very rocky but dusty instead." "As you go from predawn area to morning area you get to watch the heating behavior. "Including a predawn area in the observation is useful because all the heating from the previous day's sunshine has reached its minimum there," Hamilton said. ![]() As barefoot beach walks can confirm, sand warms or cools quicker than rocks or pavement. This provides information about how quickly the ground warms, which is related to the texture of the surface. Looking across the image from left to right presents a sequence of times of day on the Martian moon, from before dawn, to sunrise, to increasing amounts of time after dawn. "Part of the observed face of Phobos was in pre-dawn darkness, part in morning daylight," said THEMIS Deputy Principal Investigator Victoria Hamilton of the Southwest Research Institute, headquartered in San Antonio. The apparent motion is due to progression of the camera's pointing during 18 seconds of observing, not from motion of Phobos. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Mars Surveyor Operations Project operates the Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft with its industrial partner, Lockheed Martin Astronautics, from facilities in Pasadena, CA and Denver, CO.This series of images was taken in visible-wavelength light as the THEMIS camera on NASA's Mars Odyssey scanned across the Martian moon Phobos on Sept. ![]() The Thermal Emission Spectrometer is operated by Arizona State University and was built by Raytheon Santa Barbara Remote Sensing. MSSS operates the camera from its facilities in San Diego, CA. and the California Institute of Technology built the MOC using spare hardware from the Mars Observer mission. Previous images from the Viking spacecraft in the 1970's were not of sufficient resolution to show the effectiveness of gravity on Phobos in moving material down slopes. The motion of debris down slopes is guided by gravity, which is only about 1/1000th that of the Earth - e.g., a 68-kilogram (150- pound) person would weigh only about 57 grams (2 ounces) on Phobos. The presence of material of different brightness on the far crater slopes and in some of the grooves shows that the satellite is heterogeneous (that is, it is made of a mixture of different types of materials). The far wall of the crater shows lighter and darker streaks going down the slopes (C). This crater is nearly half the size of Phobos and these grooves may be fractures caused by its formation. Also crossing at and near the rim of Stickney are shallow, elongated depressions called grooves. Some of these boulders are enormous - more than 50 meters (160 feet) across. Individual boulders are visible on the near rim of the crater (D), and are presumed to be ejecta blocks from the impact that formed Stickney. This is the largest crater on Phobos, Stickney, 10 kilometers (6 miles) in diameter. The image shows several new features of this lumpy moon - features that are associated with the prominent crater seen in the upper left quarter of the image. This image is one of the highest resolution images (4 meters or 13 feet per picture element or pixel) ever obtained of the Martian satellite. Phobos was observed by both the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) and Thermal Emission Spectrometer (TES). The minimum distance between the spacecraft and Phobos was 1,080 kilometers (671 miles). This image of Phobos, the inner and larger of the two moons of Mars, was taken by the Mars Global Surveyor on August 19, 1998. ![]() Microsoft charges $149.99 to download Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019, but you can save a lot of money if you’re willing to buy it from a different store.
